Double towers of Dade Temple in Kunming

The distance between Yuxi and Kunming is 89km, between Jianshui and Yuxi is about 140km, between Yuanyang and Jianshui is 140km, between Hekou and Yuanyang is 170km, between Mile and Hekou is 315km. It takes more than 10 days to have a tour of whole route.
Yuxi which is far from kunming is 89km is about one-hour bus on the highway. It is convenient to travel between Kunming and Yuxi by bus or train. You can get a ride in Kunming Nanyao bus station or Guanshang of Yunnan tourist express bus station.
In Yuxi city there are so many places worth visiting. Such as Ni’er Park, Ni’er former residence, Dayingjie called the famous village of Yunnan, Yingyuetan spring, Yuquan temple, Huilong ecological park etc. If you have enough time, you can choose further places to visit. For example, The nine-dragon park (far from Yuxi city 8km), Fuxian lake (far from Yuxi 50km or Kunming 48km),Xingyun lake(locate at the west of Yuxi city far from 5km), Bronze museum of Qiangchuan Lijia mountain(far from the west of Yuxi 28km), and Tonghai xiu mountain(locate at the east of Jiangchuan far from 40km). It is easy to get to these sceneries mentioned above whether driving by yourself or taking a coach

The special local products are tobacco&cigar, handicraft Bronze souvenir, crockery, the soy bean candy of Tongha, sesame slice, three treasures of Ailao mountain, dried rice noodle of Haning, folk sliver ornaments of Tonghai, cotton cloth umbrella of Tonghai, lotus root starch of Chengjiang, tropical fruits of Yuanjian, jasmine tea, aloe. Besides these mentioned above, you can not miss eel rice noodle, three courses, chinese watermelon glazed fruit, roasted duck, shredded and dried of Tonghai, Yuxi oiled sofu, Yimen picked soy etc.

Jianshui is far from the west of Kunming 220km, and from Yuxi 140km.It takes 4 or 5 hours to take bus from Yuxin to Kunming on the highway named 323 state-level highway. You can have a tour in Tonghai by the way when you are on the way to Jianshui.
Jianshui is also called “ancient architecture museum”.The well-known sceneries are the Confusion Temple of Jianshui, Zhujia Garden, Zhilin Temple, Double Dragon Bridge, Chaoyang tower. Besides, you can not miss folk house known as Zhangjia Garden, Zhude Former Residence, Huanglong Temple, Wenbi tower etc. The special local products have Jianshui industrial arts crockery famed “the most marvelous crockery in China”,Caoya, sour megranate, grassleaf daylily, bird’s net, bird’s net cookie, bird’s net porridge. Beside those mentioned above, you can not miss roast tofu selling in the street and steam chicken, two of both are the most authentic Yunnan food.

Yuanyang which locates in the west of Ailao mountain is an well-known mountainous county. In this area, there live six ethnic minorities that they are Ani, Yi, Miao, Yao and Zhuang. You ought to have a deep impression on simple village, colorful ethical amorous feelings and culture. The majestic terraces are distribution over mountain in the 360 thousand square acres.

In Hekou, you could try a drift on Nanxi river. It will take about 4 or 6 hours to enjoy the whole journey of 32km. A small portion of river is belonging to China and Vietnam. You can see the Vietnam Old Street, Henei City, Xialong Bay, Huzhiming City on the way.
Coffee, Banana, Pinaapple, turtle, yellow-fin tuna are local special products. In Hekou, you have a chance to taste Vietnam foods.

Mile called as“the northern gate of Honghe”locates in the southeast of Yunnan far from Hekou 316km. There live Han, Yi, Dai, Miao, Hui, Zhuang people in this area. It is abundant with natural and mineral resources. It owns sub-tropical climate of low latitude without extreme coldness and warmth. Rice, tobacco, sugar cane, rapeseed and pig yield in great quality. The famous products are brown sugar, white sugar, rock candy, dried soy, high grade honey and tobacco. It is usually famed as “the hometown of cane sugar and tobacco”. The grape yard is not only a ecological tourist scenery but also a producing area where grapes grow up well in the field of 10 thousand acres. These grapes maturated provide raw materials with dry wine on sale in the market. The wine industry more and more appears a vital force.
